Each of us are given many opportunities every day.  Each decision we make is the result of our response to an opportunity.  Within each opportunity exists the framework for a faith-based action.  Some of the “mission opportunities” you will experience while serving as a Camp Tipton volunteer are scripted…they are part of a local mission strategy that we have arranged in partnership with local churches.  Others are what some would call “divine appointments”.  They are opportunities within the framework of our mission strategy that we did not plan, but that God inserted in His wisdom to give someone we did not anticipate the opportunity to come home to Him.  Our prayer is that you will find both the mission strategy and the “divine appointments” to be in step with the Father and His Kingdom.

The opportunities we include in our mission strategy normally fall into three categories; children’s day camps, home repair ministry, and community outreach projects.  The calendar below identifies mission teams and local churches that are scheduled to be part of the Camp Tipton Mission Family each week.  If “open” appears beside a ministry, that means we need a mission team and/or local church to fill that opportunity.
