Day Camp Schedule

Structured day camp activities begin when our bus arrives at Camp Tipton each morning.  The bus is scheduled to arrive between 8:15 – 8:20 AM.

We conclude our last activity at 4:30 PM.  The bus leaves Camp Tipton at 4:40 PM for the return trip to our bus stops.

Children enrolled in day camp may be dropped off at the Camp Tipton Pavilion between 7:15 – 8:15 AM.  Upon entering the camp property, bear right at the flag pole and follow the drive to the building just past and adjacent to the outdoor basketball court.  A staff member will be available to check in your child and provide supervision until structured activities begin.

We ask parents who pick their children up at Camp Tipton to do so between 4:45 and 5:15 PM.  This timing is firm unless previous arrangements have been made.  Fees for children left beyond 5:15 accrue at the rate of $10 an hour with any part of an hour being billed as an hour.

Day Camp Bus Schedule

PLEASE: Be considerate of other parents who are waiting at stops for their children.  If you are not on time to drop off or pickup your children, it will affect every parent waiting after your stop.

We plan to have five bus stops for campers riding the bus to and from day camp this summer.   Our goal is to make Camp Tipton Day Camps as accessible as possible.  We ask parents to understand that if only one or two children sign up for a particular bus stop, then we may have to eliminate that bus stop from our schedule.

If enough campers sign up to ride the bus to and from day camp from a specific location, we may elect to send our van to that location allowing the bus running a shorter schedule.  This will allow us to revise the schedule to make our pickup times a bit later in the morning and earlier in the evenings for the outermost locations. We will notify parents by email at least one week in advance of any schedule changes.  We have found through experience that a lot of factors can influence pickup and drop off times.  As always we work with all parents concerned to end up with a satisfactory solution to their needs.
